  •  The account payable director access members’ funds, prepare the account report and submits it to the
Chief Executive Officer for authorization and signature.

Step Three

  • The account payable director signs and submit the check to the member’s director for signature. Then
it goes to the community manager for final signature.
  • The community manager sends the check to the beneficiary’s family or relatives, and the recipient

Membership Repayment Qualification

The funeral funds aid repayment amount is subject to meeting a minimum number of members from 50 members and up. When the number of members drops to less than fifty (50 members) at any time during the year, it will be called a “short period”). Such a period will reduce the repayment amount to 50% on all eligible repayment amounts. For example, if a qualified member dies in a short period and repayment is requested, the beneficiary will receive 50% of the qualified amount, not a full payment. For example, if a member registered in 2023 and died in 2027 in a short period, four years later, a beneficiary shall receive 50% of 12,000, which is ($6,000).

Service Charges and Late Fee

If any contribution to the Association, including check, debit charge, bank draft, or any other, is not honored, or if your account is past due, the Association shall have the right to the following remedies, in addition to any other legal or equitable rights: (1) assess a service charge for each dishonored transaction and require no reimbursement for cost collection; (2) no assess a late fee of all past due accounts; (3) collect the current and past due balance in any subsequent months; and (4) suspend or terminate this Agreement. The Association reserves the right to change these service fees and late fees at any time. All payment disputes must be submitted in writing to the Association 6 within 30 days of the disputed charge, to the extent permitted by law. The Association/organization may not transfer this Agreement to a collections agency. You will be obligated to pay any legal costs incurred by the Association in enforcing this Agreement. And a returning member should expect the following fees: a return reinstatement fee of $300, plus one-time registration, an annual renewal membership fee of 50 dollars plus a package fee, and the Contributions must be collected at the same time, followed by 90 days to active status.

Adjustment to Dues and Other Fees

Monthly dues rates and service charges are subject to change as the Association/organization deems necessary. The Association may increase or decrease any fee. Before implementing such change, a written notice must be communicated to the members within thirty (30) days before
the effective date. If I have a twelve (12) month paid commitment, the Eagle of Zion Africans Union Association will not change the monthly dues rate during an initial twelve (12) month period.

Member Code of Conducts

On rare occasions, some Association members face a difficult situation that creates extreme conditions for other members. These conditions often include creating an unsafe work environment for other members, leading to disciplinary action or dismissal from work due to unwanted physical or verbal abuse, sexual contact, racial or ethnic slurs, and more. Eagle of Zion Africans Union Association, EZAUA, is committed to providing a membership experience in which families and individuals are treated with sincere respect and dignity. All members are required to show professional and moral behavior at all times. Members at this moment adhere to the code of conduct rules and regulations and must follow all related policies adopted by the Association/organization from time to time. We ask members to be mindful of how comments or actions will be understood within a small or large gathering setting. EZAUA has no need or intention to revoke or cancel any membership. Still, if inappropriate behavior is observed, the Association has full authority to take any disciplinary action against any member. Even if a member has never had the misfortune to deal with a troublesome member, it is not a bad idea to consider adopting a member Code of Conduct to outline expected conducts.

Some members have a Conflict of Interest that explained how a member or an officer is expected to behave. Still, oftentimes these codes or policies do not establish behavior expectations for the overall membership. Adopting a Member Code of Conduct policy is a good opportunity to outline the type of atmosphere our association is trying to establish; more importantly, our association membership grows in size. We believe a Code of Conduct establishes a baseline expectation of behavior for all members. It also establishes what members should do if they feel that another member is violating the association’s Code of Conduct policy. Our Member Code of Conduct policy must include in the membership forms.

Eagle of Zion African Union Association has adopted uncomplicated Code of Conduct policy, and simplify to a level where is fair and safe to everyone

  • Member is required to show respect to fellow EZAUA member at all times.
  • Always show respect and appreciation for the volunteers who give their time to aid the association activities.
  • Never shout, yell, taunt or threaten physical violence upon another member of the association, which could be a volunteer, officer, director, secretary, treasurer, president, event spectator and (Member with a criminal history of violence or with a legal restraining order against them by another member withing the association body many be from membership;
  • No member can use abusive or vulgar language or make racial, ethnic, or gender-related slurs or derogatory comments at any association events or property.
  • Never make unwanted sexual or physical contact with other members.
  • Always report any violation of the Member Code of Conduct policy to the Board in writing
The Association might have other points to consider. However, knowing that our goal is not to create a draconian behavior policy, rather a good representation of behavior that a common person respects
